Using a mobile device

Please read the instructions below when accessing your video appointment using a mobile device, like a smart phone or tablet. Download Microsoft Teams to your phone or tablet before your appointment by following the steps below.

1. Search for the app

Search for Microsoft Teams in the Play Store on an Android phone or tablet

or

Search for Microsoft Teams in the App Store on an iPhone or iPad.

2. Tap to Download

Tap GET or Install, or on the cloud symbol  to download Microsoft Teams to your phone or tablet.

Then close the app store on your device.

3. Open your email

Your video appointment invitation will be sent to your email address from DoNotReply-Appointments@spencerhospitals.com

Open this 5-10 mins before your appointment time

Tap on the Click here to join the meeting link at the bottom of your email

Open with the Teams app and press Join Meeting option (you do not need to sign in)

4. Join Meeting

Open with the Teams app and press Join Meeting (you do not need to sign in)

Next enter your name, then press Join Meeting

5. Allow video and audio

You may be asked to allow Teams to use your microphone and camera, please press Allow

6. Turn on video and sound

Tap the video camera and microphone icon so there is no line through them. Wait for the doctor or nurse to join the appointment if they aren't already present

7. End the call

Tap on the red phone icon on the screen
