A New Year = A New You for 2017?
Date: 03/01/2017
As we entered December last year, we begin to assess how the previous 12 months had gone, as we all do. 2016 has certainly been a turbulent year for news stories and we’ve all been affected in one way or another, so it’s important to remember that we can enact positive changes in ourselves to continue enjoying life, and what better time to make a change than a new year?
No matter how many New Year parties you’ve attended, champagne corks you’ve popped, or Jools Holland celebrations you’ve seen, each flip of the calendar brings around a desire to begin again, with December 31st acting like a “reset button” for many of us. However, it’s important to remember that any changes we want can only be brought about by actively taking steps forward to make them happen.
If you’re reading this, then the chances are you’ve been considering some kind of cosmetic procedure for a while, and you’re unsure about how to proceed. The fact that you’re thinking about it this much likely means you’re considering all angles, and there’s really nothing better for any kind of medical procedure than a healthy amount of thought and consideration.
Movies, TV and celebrity gossip magazines have taught us that cosmetic procedures should have a bit of a stigma about them, as they focus on the more ridiculous aspects. Indeed, for many of us, the words “cosmetic surgery” immediately conjure up images of some Barbie-proportioned celebrity walking through Hollywood (perhaps with a tiny dog’s head poking out of a bright pink bag). The reality, of course, is that the overwhelming majority of cosmetic procedures aim to enhance your comfort and confidence, rather than to grab headlines and front cover pages.
At Spencer Private Hospitals, we believe that cosmetic surgery & other procedures are not just about physical change. Rather, they’re a procedure that brings about an emotional or mental change, by physically changing the body. No matter what kind of cosmetic change you’re seeking, the common factor between all our services is always aiming to make you feel better about being you. We’ve seen first-hand how effective this methodology is for our patients, and we’re always incredibly satisfied to see smiles on their faces once all is said and done.
We hope that if you’re unsure about how to proceed, or even if you’ve made your mind up about what procedure you’d like, you’ll consider speaking to our team about your aims. You might end up speaking to our consultant: Miss Delilah Hassanally, who will be joining us very soon with over 20 years of experience in cosmetic & general surgery.
Call us on 0800 882 4875, or fill out our contact form by clicking here – our staff are quick to respond and will be happy to arrange a consultation with you.
