Spencer Private Hospitals Physiotherapy services are pleased to invite applications from enthusiastic physiotherapists who want to join our friendly dynamic and forward thinking team. This is an exciting role for a general Physiotherapist to participate in and contribute to delivering an agile, high-quality Physiotherapy service to a wide variety of inpatients and outpatients.

The physio role would be a mix of outpatients MSK and inpatient work and band 5 or 6 physio will be considered. Most of the inpatient work is orthopedic, but we also see some general surgical, gynaecology, urology, and colorectal post operative patients.

This is a great opportunity for someone to progress in their career and gain experience in private healthcare industry.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in MSK, orthopedics /other surgical patients, be motivated and passionate to progress within this field. We welcome applications from those already working in an MSK/surgical/orthopaedic post who wish to develop their existing careers, as well as newly registered physiotherapists with a desire to specialise straight away.

You will participate in the weekend on-call rota and will have an opportunity to cover additional shifts over weekends where we offer generous enhancements (We offer enhancements for Saturdays and any work between 8pm and 7.30am on weekdays at time +30% of your basic salary rate. For Sundays and Bank Holidays at time + 60% of your basic salary rate).

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Experience and Qualifications

  • BSc/Equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • Member of CSP
  • HCPC Registration
  • Ability to assess, plan and evaluate patient care
  • Relevant post graduate experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Time and caseload management
  • Basic IT skills
  • Able to travel to meet service needs
